The developer is planning 254 high-end apartments in the former office building at 5th & Marquette.
“Minneapolis’ urban core is home to more than 36,000 residents, 19 Fortune 500 companies and hosts a workforce of over 160,000 people, which is why we continue to bring our luxury City brand to Minneapolis,” said Jonathan Holtzman, chairman and CEO of the Michigan-based Village Green.
The apartment development will have a three-story lobby, “floating glass” staircase and an indoor/outdoor pool, among other amenities, according to a news release.
The Soo Line development is the sixth project with the Village Green City brand in Minneapolis.
