Hines is breaking ground tomorrow on a new apartment development near the ballbark called Dock Street Apartments.
The six-story apartment complex will be built at 333 Washington Ave. N. It will have 185 apartments and 3,000 square feet of retail.
The apartment project is part of a larger development plan proposed by Hines called North Loop Green, according to a news release.
The groundbreaking will be held at the building site from 11 a.m. to noon. Hines officials along with Minneapolis Downtown Council CEO Mark Stenglein and City Council President Barb Johnson are scheduled to attend.
