Indeed Brewing Company has received City Council approval for its license and will open its Northeast taproom and brewery Aug. 10, the craft brewer announced. Indeed will become the first of four breweries expected to open in Northeast this year.
“People should ready to have a good time, and meet their neighbors and meet a lot of people who love craft beer and are excited about Indeed. I think we have something special going on and I hope that other people feel the same way,” said Rachel Anderson, Indeed’s director of marketing, referring to the upcoming launch.
Located at 711 15th Ave NE, the taproom will include 70-person capacity interior seating and 45-person capacity patio, staying open Thursday through Saturday, according to a news release. The taproom will feature two beers to start: Midnight Ryder American Black Ale and Day Tripper Pale Ale.
Indeed’s brewery will also be the first brewery in Northeast since James Page Brewing left in 2002, and will be located within walking distance of the iconic former Grain Belt brewery which shuttered in the 1970s.
