Vance Gellert’s photo project “Bridge” featuring portraits of I-35W bridge collapse survivors, their loved ones and first responders to the tragedy will be unveiled Wednesday evening at the Mill City Museum.
The photo project features about 50 portraits by Gellert. The photographer spent the past two years interviewing survivors, relatives of those who died during the collapse, first responders and others who helped people heal from the Aug. 1, 2007 collapse.
Performances inspired by Gellert’s photos called “Bridge: A Gathering” will take place at 5:45 p.m. at the Mill City Museum.
Gellert’s photos will be on display through December.
